It is with a heavy pen and very heavy hearts that we announce the loss of one of our own this past weekend. Crystal Cole was taken from this earth entirely too soon. But to all that knew her - her captivating personality and magnetic presence will live on in spirit and in memory, for those we love don't go away...they walk beside us every day.
"On Saturday June 6, 2015 sadly we lost one of our kickball family members. Crystal Cole was a vivacious, energetic, thoughtful person. She was the true life of any party, with her love of music you could always find her bopping her beautiful blonde locks to the beat of any DJ. She enjoyed traveling the country for the chance to be live and up front and truly feel the sound of the base pump threw her body. Crystal was well known in the Rochester community as she spent most her time either making us all fabulous drinks @ our favorite watering holes, OR kicking her way into our hearts on the kickball field. No matter what she was doing she brought a ray of sunshine with her. She has left behind two wonderful children, a son Chase, and a daughter Abby. Chase is an up and coming soccer star who hopes someday to compete in the big league. He and his mother had a special bond, and when they were together you could see the sparkle in her eye. Abby is a soft spoken, kind young lady who enjoys to dance. She is a spit image of crystal and often refered to as Crystal's mini-me. Her children brought out the gentle, nurturing side so many of us will miss. As we say good-bye to a friend it's never easy, Crystal Cole you will always be in our hearts and memories, and every time the sun shines, or a dragonfly flutters by, or the base drops on our favorite song we will know it's you saying Hello and you love us back!" ~ Beckie DodgeNACKA Kickball is setting up a double elimination charity tournament, to be held on Sunday July 12th, in Crystal's memory. Check in will be at 8:30am, with a 9am start. More information, including proceed details will be available shortly.

Hopefully by now you've stopped being lame and have registered for NACKA's Summer Kickball Season. Closing time for team registration is creeping up fast and steady and we'd hate for you to be left out on the streets...homeless & friendless.Summer registration is open until 11:59pm on May 21st. Not midnight...we said, 11:59pm. Once registration closes, the shut off for your NACKA t-shirt order closes right after on May 22nd. Meaning, if you don't sign-up for kickball you'll be left out on the streets homeless, friendless, and now shirtless. Don't go naked...play kickball.
Each registered player is allowed one official NACKA Kickball t-shirt free of charge in their selected size. If you don't select a size when signing-up, you will be ordered whatever size is displayed on your form. This could be disastrous for some...think Tommy Boy, "fat man in a little coat". FYI: Additional tees are $10.00 each and hoodies are $20.00...we seriously have better prices than Aeropostale. Even though most of you have forgotten that it's Mother's Day on Sunday and suck at being children...that doesn't mean that you have to forget about kickball and suck at life. Sign up, get a shirt, grab a beer, and play some ball. Time...she is a ticking.
