FALL INTO AWESOME...FALL INTO KICKBALL

Not to speed up Mother Nature or bum anyone out...but the season of falling leaves and falling temperatures is busting at the seems, lurking around the corner. For most of us, the thought of ditching our Speedo's and Hawaiian Tropic (aka "Miracle in a Bottle") for thermals and leg warmers, makes us want to drown our sorrows in a vat of vodka. But before you "go go Gadget arms" for the Grey Goose bottle - there is an upside to the chilliness that is well worth welcoming in.

Yes, fall foliage can be stunning. Yes, sweaters and jeans worn together are pretty damn hipster. Yes, the sound of crinkled leaves crunching under your feet as you walk can be blissfully nostalgic. But more important than all of the crackling fires and warm Snuggies that the cool weather brings, the NACKA fall kickball season will be played...oh yes, it will be played.

Normal registration is open until 11:59pm on Thursday, August 13th. However, there is extended registration available until September 6th for all of you slackers out there. For those of you whose fingers go numb when the temps dip below 75°, the beginning of Fall still offers some pretty warm nights. And when the mercury really starts to plunge...what better way to heat up your bones than to run it out and drink it down at the stadium.

Sign-up, register, and play. Or just sit home on your couch wrapped up to your neck in your cheetah print Snuggie waiting to order the next best As Seen On TV product.
